Designing this home was an exciting departure from our typical projects. In 2018, Stellar Homes entrusted us with the task of creating a stunning model home for their upcoming subdivision of ten custom-built estate homes. Each lot boasted more than an acre of land, accommodating homes over 3,000 sqft. This project was unique for us as we weren't designing for a specific family, but rather crafting a space that would captivate anyone who walked through its doors.
This exquisite bungalow, offering over 3,500 sqft of living space, needed to embody modern-day luxuries and timeless quality finishes, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability to attract a broad audience.
This project was both enjoyable and challenging, as we constantly questioned if our decisions would resonate with a diverse range of potential homeowners. We are delighted to report that the home was universally loved, leading to its quick sale post-release. Moreover, the remaining homes in the subdivision also sold rapidly, and we had the pleasure of assisting the new homeowners with their design needs.
In our experience, the powder room is often where clients seek the "wow factor," and we refer to it as the “Pandora's box” of the home. For this project, we designed a rich, moody powder room with Nero Marquina marble flooring, complemented by a lacquered white vanity featuring intricate countertop detailing and a top-mounted vessel sink.
The primary bathroom was nothing short of a sanctuary. It boasted a large curbless walk-in shower and custom his and hers vanities made from gorgeous natural oak wood, topped with stunning Italian Calacatta marble countertops that extended into bevelled mirror frames. This space, complete with heated floors, was truly fit for royalty.
We curated beautiful, light, wide plank engineered oak flooring throughout the home. The kitchen, a vision in white, featured granite and marble countertops, and a distinctive backsplash imported from Spain. This marble mosaic backsplash, with its elegant round cut mirror accents, added the perfect touch of sophistication.
