Our client acquired this residence in November 2021 with a vision of a top-to-bottom renovation to personalize it to their taste. New hardwood floors, kitchen tiles, and updated bathrooms were just the beginning. As the renovations unfolded, the home began to truly embody their essence.

With the major renovations complete and settling into their revamped space, attention turned to furnishing the main floor living room—the initial impression upon entering the home. This space had to be not only visually appealing and welcoming but also function effectively as an entryway.

Our design approach aimed to mirror the refined and well-traveled nature of our clients, who are also avid art collectors. When discussing color preferences, they didn’t mention "blues and greys," but rather provided vivid descriptors: "Sea, sand, and the sky." Inspired by their stunning art collection and travel artifacts, we crafted a neutral and serene space. Soft woods, white sand-colored fabrics, and tapestries were paired with heavy metals to ground the room, creating an environment perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine after a long day, planning future travels, or engaging in late-night conversations and laughter with loved ones—accompanied by, of course, more glasses of wine!
